DIAMONDS - HERB ALPERT (FEAT. JANET JACKSON)

A lost classic from the mid-eighties.  For those that enjoyed the “Control” years of Janet Jackson, this is right up your alley.  

I think Herb was going through his mid-life crisis, but he did a great job of integrating himself into the Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis sound.  My favorite part of this video is Jerome (from The Time).  A throw back to Purple Rain.
