BAND AID - DO THEY KNOW IT’S CHRISTMAS

This video still rings as a who’s who for pop artists of the 80’s and 90’s…a great song.  It was the one that reinvigorated rock charity (prior to, you would have to go back to George Harrison’s Concert for Bangladesh).  In its wake came “We Are The World,” Live Aid, Ferry Aid, Hear ‘n’ Aid (yes that is not a joke, it was a heavy metal charity group headed by Ronnie James Dio), and more.
